The Russian army struck the city of Kharkiv for the third time on 23 January, damaging residential buildings.

Details: Syniehubov said that the Russians hit the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. Some civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

All the emergency services are on their way to the scenes of the strikes, and information on casualties is being confirmed.

Updated: According to Terekhov, there is information about seven injured locals, but the figure is mentioned in early reports so far. Syniehubov adds that the Russians hit an education institution; residential infrastructure was damaged, and a car was on fire.

At 23:05, Syniehubov specified that there was a four-year-old child among the victims, with no life-threatening injuries.

Updated at 23:35: The Kharkiv-based local news outlet Nakypilo has reported that their colleague Anna Miasnykova is among the injured. She has shrapnel in her leg as well as a fracture, and will undergo surgery. 

At 23:53, the number of victims increased to eight. The condition of three of the hospitalised people is assessed as moderate. The rest of the victims have an acute stress reaction; their condition is mild.

It has also become known that the occupiers attacked Kharkiv with S-300 missiles from the territory of Russian Belgorod.
