Number of fatalities in Kharkiv attack rises to 8, including a 8-year old girl – video
The death toll as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv has risen to seven.

Updated: Earlier reports suggested six people have been killed. Later Syniehubov said another person had been killed.
Earlier the Prosecutor General’s Office has reported that two people injured in the attack died in hospital.
According to officials, the death toll of the attack has risen to 5, with 46 people injured.
Later, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported that emergency workers had also recovered the body of a woman, 21, from under the rubble of an entrance destroyed by a missile strike.
Updated at 18:51: Syniehubov said that rescue workers found the body of a nine-year-old girl under the rubble. As of now, eight people are known to have been killed in the attack.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine specified that the girl was eight years old and published a video of rescue work.
Background:
- At around 04:00 and 07:20 (Kyiv time) on Tuesday morning, Russia struck the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv with Kh-22 missiles.
- As of 09:20, three people were reported dead and 35 wounded, including two children aged 10 and 12. Five people were in serious condition.
