Unexploded missile part found in Kyiv building: evacuation underway

Rescue workers are evacuating people from a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, as they discovered a missile warhead in an apartment that did not explode.

Background:
- On the morning of 23 January, the Air Force reported the launch of cruise missiles from Russian bombers.
- Explosions rang out in Kyiv during an air raid, and the authorities reported that the air defence was responding to the attack.
- As a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv on the morning of 23 January, houses and a kindergarten had been damaged in several districts of the city, and cars were on fire in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
- At least nine people had been injured in a Russian missile attack on Kyiv on the morning of 23 January.
