Mandatory evacuation zone expanded in Kharkiv Oblast
The mandatory evacuation zone for families with children has been expanded in Kharkiv Oblast.

Quote: "Taking into consideration the security situation, we announce the mandatory evacuation of people from the Kindrashivka and Kurylivka hromadas (a hromada being a Ukrainian administrative subdivision encompassing either a town, a village, or a group of villages and adjacent land) of the Kupiansk district.
At the moment, 3043 people remain in the affected districts, 279 of them children.
We urge families with children to evacuate from such settlements as Blahodativka, Vyshnivka, Vasylivka, Velyka Shapkivka, Husynka, Hrushivka, Doroshivka, Yehorivka, Kurochkine, Kovalivka, Mykolaivka Persha, Monachynivka, Moskovka, Nechvolodivka, Prosianka, Pryliutove, Samborivka, Smorodkivka, Sobolivka, Sadove, Tsybivka in the Kindrashivka hromada, and Bile, Vorontsivka, Lisna Stinka, Senkove, Synykha in the Kurylivka hromada."
Details: Syniehubov reported that all evacuated people will be provided with accommodation and support by international humanitarian organisations.

Background:
- In August 2023, authorities commenced the mandatory evacuation of families with children from 37 settlements of the Kupiansk district in Kharkiv Oblast in connection with the intensification of Russian attacks.
- At the end of November, it was reported that 299 children and their parents were evacuated from dangerous areas of the Kupiansk district in Kharkiv Oblast.
- In December, the authorities in Kharkiv Oblast were considering expanding the list of frontline hromadas subject to mandatory evacuation orders due to Russian bombardments.
