National Agency on Corruption Prevention adds almost 50 companies to register of war sponsors
The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has added almost 50 companies to the list of international sponsors of the war, most of them are based in China.

"As of today, almost 50 companies are listed in this register. Most of them are in China – 14. The United States comes second – 7 companies. All the others are mostly from European Union countries," Oleksandr Novikov said.
According to Novikov, there is a tendency for international companies that continue to operate in Russia to actively appeal to the NACP, providing plans for businesses to leave the Russian Federation and asking not to add the company to this register.
"Just last week, one of these companies contacted us and announced that it would provide a plan to leave the Russian Federation in order not to end up in the register," Novikov said.
At the same time, the head of the NACP mentioned cases when being on the register helped companies leave Russia, after which they were excluded from the list.
"However, unfortunately, we introduce a new multinational company there every week, which continues to operate in Russia and pays significant taxes to the Russian budget," Novikov said.
He reiterated that the Register of International War Sponsors is a joint project of the NACP and Refinitiv, which is a partner of World-Check, a database of politically known individuals and high-risk organisations. It was created to prevent doing international business on the blood of Ukrainians.
Background: In early January, the NACP added the American multinational fast food franchise Subway to the list of international sponsors of war.
