Authorities have installed a reinforced concrete modular structure in the centre of Russian Belgorod to protect civilians from bombardments.

Details: On Saturday, the agency reported that the Belgorod authorities had installed a reinforced concrete modular structure in the city centre to protect the locals from bombardments.

Two days ago, it was also reported that bus stops in Belgorod were being reinforced with sandbags and concrete blocks.

  • Explosions have recently become more frequent in Belgorod.
  • On 30 December, debris fell in the city centre after Russian air defence systems responded. The Russians reported 20 dead and more than 100 wounded.
  • On the evening of 8 January, explosions rang out in the Russian city of Belgorod. The Russian Defence Ministry claimed that ten missiles were shot down. Houses and cars were damaged in the city.
