The official explained that he had opened the meeting by describing the aftermath of Russia's recent large-scale missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, the civilian casualties and the devastation of civilian infrastructure.

Yermak said this fourth meeting of the advisers in Davos is a logical continuation of the third meeting in Malta, where the first five points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula were considered, namely nuclear security, food and energy security, the release of prisoners of war and deportees, including children, and recovery of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Five more points of the formula, Yermak added, will be discussed in Davos. These include the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine, bringing justice and environmental safety, preventing the escalation and recurrence of the war, and confirming the end of the war.

Yermak stressed that, as in Malta, each of these points will be presented by the co-leader countries of the formula's relevant aspects.

The official added that it was necessary to decide on further actions, in particular, to agree on the format of the Global Peace Summit.

Yermak explained that this would allow the development of detailed roadmaps for each formula point, and the countries leading the relevant areas of the formula could hold thematic conferences to finalise the algorithms for their implementation.

Previous meetings on the Peace Formula were held in Copenhagen, Jeddah and Malta last year.
