Zelenskyy is increasingly confident that US will provide assistance to Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is now even more confident that the US will help Ukraine militarily and financially – a step which was delayed due to the actions of the Republican party.

Quote: "As for Washington's help: I look at it with more positivity than in December. I think we will also achieve results there as well."
Details: Zelenskyy also added that the EU decision on providing Ukraine with €50 billion worth of long-term support will be announced on 1 February this year.
Background: In December 2023, representatives of the Republican Party in the US blocked a bill to allocate billions of dollars of assistance to Ukraine, as well as assistance to Israel, in an attempt to link it with the strengthening of the US’s southern border.
