Russia attacks Kupiansk district, killing man – photo
The Russians had been attacking Kupiansk district in Kharkiv Oblast since midnight on 1 January. At least one civilian was killed.

Details: The investigation materials indicate that the Russians attacked Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi with artillery at around 01:10 on 1 January. A Russian shell hit the roof of a five-story residential building.
Russian servicemen struck the settlement again at approximately 9:00. Early reports indicate that the Russians used the Uragan multiple launcher rocket system.
A man died from a shrapnel wound as a result of an attack on Dvorichna in Kupiansk district.
The discovery of the body was reported at 12:30.
In addition, the Russian army carried out an airstrike on the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk district, on the morning of 1 January: residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged. According to early reports, an FAB-250 was used.
