Zelenskyy: our main task is to prevent Russia from taking initiative this winter
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, pointing out that the main task of the state is to prevent the Russian forces from taking the initiative in the winter.

Quote: "I thank all the soldiers and commanders for their resilience and valour. The task of our state – even now, in winter, no matter how difficult it may be – is to show strength and not let the enemy seize the initiative, not let them fortify."
Details: Zelenskyy noted that during the meeting he heard reports on the operational situation in Kupiansk, Lyman and Donetsk fronts, as well as in the south.
"Today, I want to particularly commend the soldiers who have shown themselves the most – now, and in battles in winter and this autumn," Zelenskyy emphasised.
