Quote: "The situation remains quite complicated. The enemy keeps launching attacks non-stop. They are trying to capture the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant. Yesterday (on 7 December) our soldiers targeted a sabotage and reconnaissance group, killing at least 15 people. I would like to note the efforts of Sergeant Sviatenko and Junior Sergeant Dmytro Semenyk."
Details: Lazutkin said that it has been "noisy" in the city for several days. The Russians are launching attacks, dropping precision guided bombs. There are periods when Avdiivka and its outskirts are struck every 30-40 minutes, and the territory of the plant in particular as well.
Lazutkin reported that there has been no reduction in the number of Russian soldiers near Avdiivka: "They are constantly coming in waves. These are usually small groups of 10, 12, 15 people, sometimes with military equipment. They have a lot of drones with thermal imagers. We have those too, but at the moment they are gaining the advantage over us."
He added that the Russians’ losses are several times higher than those of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Lazutkin stressed that there is a lack of high-tech devices due to their high cost.
