Air defence network responding to missile attack in Kyiv Oblast
The Kyiv Oblast authorities have reported that air defence units were responding to a Russian attack during an air raid on the morning of 8 December.

Quote from Kyiv Oblast Military Administration: "Residents of Kyiv Oblast! There is a missile attack! Air defence assets and personnel are already responding to it in the oblast."
Details: The authorities asked residents to observe information silence and not to film or post the work of the defenders online.
People are also urged to take care of their own safety and wait out the air raid in shelters.
Background: On the morning of 8 December, the Air Force reported that the Russians had fired cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers on Ukraine.
