Air defence downs 5 attack drones out of 7
The Ukrainian Air Force shot down five of the seven Shahed attack drones on the night of 7-8 December.

Details: The Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area in Russia, and fired S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the territory of Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
In total, seven Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs and six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles were launched.
The direction of attack of the Shahed UAVs was Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, while the anti-aircraft guided missiles were fired at Kharkiv Oblast.
Assets and personnel of the Air Force, together with air defence units of the Defence Forces, have destroyed five attack UAVs.
Background: The Russians launched six missiles at Kharkiv on the night of 7-8 December. There were casualties and damage.
