Zelenskyy: Ukraine's Parliament to vote on decision to prepare for negotiations with EU

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Verkhovna Rada, the country’s parliament, will vote this week on resolutions concerning, among other things, Ukraine's relations with its creditors and what steps should be taken in order to get ready to begin negotiations with the European Union.

Quote: "Our priority is the full implementation of all those decisions that are necessary for Ukraine to fulfil all the required steps on its path to the EU. We believe that the European Union will fulfil its promise to Ukraine."

Details: Zelenskyy added that he had a meeting with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. They specifically talked about working with partners, getting ready for new decisions regarding support for Ukraine, and cooperation with donors. They also discussed topics related to Ukraine’s energy system.
