Ukrainian defenders kill 1,120 Russians and destroy 18 tanks in one day

Russia continues to suffer losses in its war of aggression against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Defence Forces have killed 1,120 invaders and destroyed 21 Russian artillery systems and 26 armoured combat vehicles in the past 24 hours alone.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 7 December 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 336,230 (+1,120) military personnel;
• 5,618 (+18) tanks;
• 10,482 (+26) armoured combat vehicles;
• 8,045 (+21) artillery systems;
• 919 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 605 (+0) air defence systems;
• 324 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 324 (+0) helicopters;
• 6,116 (+33) tactical UAVs;
• 1,571 (+1) cruise missiles;
• 22 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 10,561 (+29) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,156 (+3) special vehicles and other equipment.
