Details: In addition, a statement issued following the G7 online summit said the group is "limiting Russia's ability to fund its illegal war by taking steps to limit Russia's energy revenue and its future extractive capabilities."
As part of these steps, the G7 will impose import restrictions on non-commercial diamonds mined, processed or produced in Russia, followed by further phased restrictions on imports of Russian diamonds processed in third countries.
The G7 leaders also continue to support the peacekeeping initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the Peace Formula.
