US to help Ukraine build bomb shelters using 3D-printers

The Ukrainian delegation has made an agreement with an American construction company Diamond Age about cooperation in using 3D-printers for building bomb shelters and fortifications in the combat zone.

Details: The delegation was composed of the representatives of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine and JSC Ukrainian Defence Industry (earlier known as Ukroboronprom).

The memorandum about cooperation was signed following the results of the meeting in the US during which Diamond Age expressed their readiness to cooperate and enter the Ukrainian market.

Reportedly, the goal of the meeting was mainly to discuss the strengthening of production capacities of the Ukrainian military industry and involve American scientists in the developments in the humanitarian demining sector.

Background: In four quarters of 2023 Ukroboronprom will have increased the armament production by 62% compared with the previous year.
