National Guard soldiers destroy Russian anti-air defence system in Kherson Oblast

National Guard soldiers have destroyed an S-350 Vityaz, a Russian medium-range surface-to-air missile system, on the Kherson front.

Details: The Vityaz air defence system is the latest Russian short- and medium-range air defence system designed for point defence against aircraft, ballistic missiles, drones and high-precision attacks.

UAV operators from military units of the National Guard’s Southern Operational-Territorial Command are reported to have destroyed the following equipment within a few days:
- 8 light-duty Russian vehicles
- 1 military truck
- 1 new-generation S-350 Vityaz medium-range anti-aircraft missile system
- 1 Russian Osa (SA-8 Gecko) anti-aircraft missile system
- 3 electronic warfare antennas.
