Russians attack thermal power plant in frontline area once again
One of Ukrainian national thermal power plants in the frontline area was damaged by several Russian bombardments on the night of 5-6 December 2023; there were no casualties.

Details: The attack left residents of one of the settlements near the plant without heating supply.
The plant's equipment was damaged. After the bombardment stopped, power engineers began to deal with the aftermath and restore heating supply to the residents.
The company noted that this is the sixth attack on this particular thermal power plant near the combat zone in the last six weeks.
Background:
As of 6 December, all the settlements cut off from the power grid due to bad weather have been restored; and 423 settlements were cut off from the power grid due to combat actions and technical reasons.
