Portraits of Ukrainian and US presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joe Biden, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, were hung up as targets for shooting at a children’s festival in the Russian city of Tomsk.

Details: The Tomsk technical school where the event took place said the festival was organised by the Tomsk regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organisation for Veterans of War, Labour, the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement. The educational institution had been made available as a venue at the organisation’s request.

The festival, entitled Peaceful Warrior of the Russian Federation, reportedly aimed to "instil in the younger generation the concept of patriotism, love for the motherland, respect for the wishes of our ancestors, and the preservation of history and Russian traditions".
