Ukrainian defenders kill over 1,000 Russian soldiers and destroy 26 Russian artillery systems over past 24 hours

Ukrainian Defence Forces have persisted in obliterating the Russian occupying army as Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine rages on. Ukrainian troops have killed 1,030 Russian soldiers and destroyed 7 tanks and 26 artillery systems belonging to the Russians over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 5 December 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 333,840 (+1,030) military personnel;
• 5,587 (+7) tanks;
• 10,416 (+15) armoured combat vehicles;
• 7,987 (+26) artillery systems;
• 913 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 605 (+3) air defence systems;
• 323 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 324 (+0) helicopters;
• 6,032 (+15) tactical UAVs;
• 1,570 (+1) cruise missiles;
• 22 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 10,483 (+32) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,148 (+7) special vehicles and other equipment.
