Russians launch second drone attack of this evening, this time from south

Russian forces have launched attack UAVs for the second time this evening, 4 December. The Air Force has reported a threat of drone attacks in Ukraine’s south.

Details: Around 23:11, the Air Force reported that Iranian Shahed drones were heading westward along the border between Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts. A cluster of attack UAVs had previously been recorded in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv Oblast, heading toward Odesa Oblast.

An air-raid warning has been issued in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts. 

Updated.  Quote at 23:57: "The first group of attack UAVs is in Kirovohrad Oblast, followed by the second group!

Another group of attack UAVs is moving eastward towards Kirovohrad Oblast.

The air defence is operating!"

Quote at 00:10: "The threat of attack UAVs for Cherkasy Oblast".

00:13: "The second group of attack UAVs is approaching the borders of Vinnytsia Oblast! The direction of movement is north-west!"

00:41: "A group of Shahed drones is approaching the centre of Vinnytsia Oblast in the direction of Tulchyn. Another group is in the western part of Cherkasy Oblast, heading west!"

00:46: "+ Another group of Shahed drones is approaching the border of Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad and Odesa oblasts."

00:53: "There is the threat of attack UAVs for Khmelnytskyi Oblast."

Details: At around 01:00, the Air Force also reported a missile threat to Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

Quote from the Air Force at 01:14: "The first group of attack UAVs is in the northern part of Vinnytsia Oblast, heading west.

The second group of attack UAVs entered Vinnytsia Oblast from the western part of Cherkasy Oblast, heading west."

Details: At 01:28, the Air Force reported that there was no missile threat in the oblasts.

Details: At 01:58, the Air Force reported that Russian attack drones were posing a threat to Ternopil Oblast.

Group 2 of attack UAVs is moving in the southwestern part of Khmelnytskyi Oblast in the direction of Volochysk district.

There is a threat to Ternopil Oblast."

03:36: "Several groups of Shahed attack UAVs in Drohobych and Mykolaiv districts of Lviv Oblast, heading west."

03:43: "+ one more group in Rohatyn district of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, heading west".

05:01: "The all-clear was given in all oblasts."

Background: 

• On the evening of 4 December, the Russians launched several groups of Shahed drones on Kharkiv Oblast. The Izium and Chuhuiv districts came under attack, and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
