Russian drone attack repelled in Kyiv Oblast, but critical infrastructure facility catches fire

Ukrainian air defence forces in Kyiv Oblast responded effectively on the night of 30-31 December, but a critical infrastructure facility caught fire due to a Russian attack.

Quote from Kravchenko: "Kyiv Oblast has repelled the enemy’s latest terrorist attack. Drones attacked the oblast overnight. Our air defence forces in the oblast worked intensively. I commend them for their professional work."

Details: A fire broke out in an open area due to debris crashing down on a critical infrastructure facility. The blaze was promptly put out.

The latest information indicates that there were no hits to residential infrastructure. No casualties were reported.

Operational teams are continuing to gather information on the consequences of the attack.
