19 civilians killed in Russian strike on Kyiv on 29 December

Rescue workers have found the bodies of two more people under rubble in Ukraine’s capital, bringing the number of fatalities caused by the Russian strike on Kyiv on 29 December to 19.

Details: The State Emergency Service specified that the bodies were retrieved from the rubble in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi District.

Quote: "1,400 cubic metres of destroyed building structures have been moved and removed; 1,756 cubic metres since the beginning of work. Search and rescue operations continue around the clock."

91 rescue workers, 34 fire-and-rescue appliances and a canine unit from the State Emergency Service are involved in this work.
