Civilians killed in Russian attack on Kherson

Russian forces bombarded Kherson's Korabelnyi district on Saturday evening, 30 December, killing a man and a woman.

Details: Prokudin said the Russian army struck a residential building in Kherson in the evening.

The official later reported that a woman, 59, had died in a Russian strike on Kherson's Korabelnyi district.

Roman Mrochko noted that a house caught fire in the Korabelnyi district due to the Russian attack.

One man died at the scene of the fire, and the 59-year-old woman was in the building that was destroyed.

"So as of now, two people in Kherson city hromada have been killed by the Russian bombardment," Mrochko said. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
