Air defence forces down Russian missile near Dnipro
Explosions occurred in Dnipro on the afternoon of 30 December while an air-raid warning was in effect. Air defence troops downed a Russian missile.

Details: The Air Force warned of a missile threat, presumably a Kh-59, flying towards Dnipro.
Later, the media reported that explosions were heard in the city.
Update: Later, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration explained that defenders from Air Command Skhid (East) had destroyed the missile over the Dniprovskyi district.
Background: On the morning of 30 December, a MiG-31 fighter jet capable of carrying Kinzhal missiles took off in Russia. As a result, an air-raid warning was issued in all of Ukraine's oblasts, and it lasted for an hour and a half.
