Russian Defence Ministry claims attempt to attack Crimea with uncrewed vessel

The Russian Defence Ministry has claimed that the Ukrainian Navy sent an uncrewed surface vessel to Crimea on the morning of 30 December, but it was supposedly destroyed.

Quote from the Russian Ministry of Defence: "On 30 December, at around 10:00 Moscow time, an uncrewed surface vessel belonging to the Ukrainian Navy was detected in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, moving towards the Crimean peninsula. The detected target was destroyed using the standard weapons of a Black Sea Fleet patrol boat."

Background: A little earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defence stated that on 30 December, its air defence systems supposedly destroyed and intercepted 32 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the air over the territories of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk and Moscow oblasts of the Russian Federation.
