Ukraine's National Guard kills Russian soldiers in their trench

Ihor Klymenko, Ukraine's Interior Minister, has reported that the troops of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) have killed four Russian soldiers in their own trench.

Quote: "Four invaders were killed right in their trenches as a National Guard soldier bearing the alias Neo, and his brother-in-arms Vienia gave the enemy an unexpected 'surprise'.

During a combat mission overnight, they [Ukrainian soldiers – ed.] had to reach their unit's trenches, situated fairly close to the adversary's positions. Recognising this, they managed to get undetected right up to the enemy trenches in poor visibility conditions."

Details: Klymenko said the Burevii ("Hurricane") Brigade soldiers entered the Russian trench, and then Neo opened fire.

Klymenko added that afterwards, the National Guard troops headed back to their unit and carried on with their combat mission.
