Teacher killed in Zaporizhzhia in large-scale Russian attack
A teacher from the city of Zaporizhzhia, a 53-year-old woman, was killed during the 29 December Russian attack on Ukraine.

Quote from Lisovyi: "People were killed and injured in yet another Russian terrorist attack. A 53-year-old primary school teacher from Zaporizhzhia, who spent most of her life working at school, is among the killed. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends. This is a tragedy for the entire educational community."
Details: The minister added that dozens of educational institutions across the country have been damaged: kindergartens, schools, and universities.
"The Russians' main target is people and our hope and perseverance. However, the Russians will never be able to break us if we are united.
We have become much stronger over these almost two years. And we will definitely take revenge on the terrorists for their attacks," Lisovyi concluded.
Background:
- On the morning of 29 December, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine: explosions rocked Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv and a range of other cities, killing at least 20 people.
- During the large-scale strike on Ukraine, Russia used 158 aerial weapons, including various types of missiles and attack UAVs. Ukrainian forces shot down 27 Shahed kamikaze UAVs and 87 cruise missiles.
