Latest large-scale attack on Ukraine cost Russia at least US$1.27 billion
Russia has spent at least US$1.273 billion on its latest large-scale attack on Ukraine on the night of 28 December and early 29 December.

The Russians launched a total of:
36 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze UAVs;
at least 90 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 air-to-ground cruise missiles;
8 Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles;
14 S-300/S-400/Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
5 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles;
4 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles;
1 Kh-59 missile.
The Kh-47 Kinzhal hypersonic missile is estimated to cost US$10 million or more, with the total cost of 5 launches being US$50 million.
As per information from open sources, Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 loitering munitions cost from US$20,000 to US$50,000 per unit. That is, at least 36 of these UAVs cost US$720,000.
Forbes estimates that the cost of a Kh-101 missile equals US$13 million, making the total cost of the deployed missiles US$1.17 billion.
The cost of a Kh-22 missile is estimated at US$1 million, totalling US$8 million that the Russians used for their attack.
An Iskander-M ballistic missile is worth US$3 million, and the total cost of all launched missiles of this type reaches US$42 million.
Moreover, based on other Forbes data, the cost of a Kh-31P and Kh-59 missile stands at US$0.5 million each, bringing the total cost to US$2.5 million.
Therefore, Russia wasted a total of US$1,273,220,000 worth of missiles and drones for its attack on Ukraine on the night of 28 December and early 29 December.
