Ukraine's forces kill 920 Russian personnel and destroy 27 tanks over past day

Russia has lost 920 soldiers, 27 tanks, 15 artillery systems, 42 armoured vehicles, and 15 artillery systems in the past day of the military aggression against Ukraine.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 28 December 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 356,670 (+920) military personnel;
• 5,940 (+27) tanks;
• 11,015 (+42) armoured combat vehicles;
• 8,391 (+15) artillery systems;
• 935 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 617 (+1)  air defence systems;
• 329 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 324 (+0) helicopters;
• 6,503 (+32) tactical UAVs;
• 1,620 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 23 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 11,180 (+40) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,247 (+7)  special vehicles and other equipment.
