Based on the keywords, however, it is known that the subject of Zaluzhnyi’s thesis concerns military discipline, disciplinary offences and sanctions.

Zaluzhnyi’s publications on the topic of the thesis are also focused on issues relating to military-disciplinary law. Zaluzhnyi signs his works as a postgraduate student of the department of administrative, civil and economic law and procedure of the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine. Zaluzhnyi has been present at many events organised by the academy, such as graduation ceremonies.

He defended his thesis at the National University Odesa Law Academy, the president of which is Serhii Kivalov, a former member of the now-banned pro-Russian Party of Regions.
