US Ambassador reacts to Russian attack on Kherson railway station
Bridget Brink, the US Ambassador to Ukraine, has responded to the Russian bombardment of Kherson railway station and posted a picture of the train that was damaged in the strike for her followers to see.

Background:
- Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, has also condemned the Russian attack.
- At around 18:00 on 26 December, Ukrainska Pravda reported that Russian forces had attacked a railway station in Kherson, killing a police officer and injuring two of his colleagues and two civilians.
- Passengers who had been waiting for the train, which was unable to depart, were taken to Mykolaiv by bus.
