Situation in Marinka now worse than in Bakhmut – National Security Council Secretary

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, has said that the situation in Marinka is even worse than in Bakhmut.

"A small part of the settlement is still under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

But the Russians want to capture this settlement. However, if we are being honest, they want to capture what is left of the settlement. Because they have essentially completely destroyed it.

There are practically no surviving buildings there."
