Ukrainian actor Bohdan Kolesnyk is killed in action
Film and theatre actor Bohdan Kolesnyk was killed in combat on 23 December.

The soldier was fatally wounded while performing a combat mission.
When Russia's full-scale invasion began, the actor joined the Territorial Defence Forces, later ending up on the contact line. He was active on social media and was involved in charity fundraisers to buy cars and drones for the military.
Kolesnyk was born in Kryvyi Rih and graduated from the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Karyi Theatre, Cinema and Television University. He appeared in various TV shows, including SuperCops, Captain on Сall, Toptun, Maestro and Need a Cab? He worked at the Osobystosti Theatre, the Luhansk Academic Theatre, and the Ukrainian Modern Theatre.
"Another loss... Our colleague, talented Ukrainian actor Bohdan Kolesnyk, was killed today while performing a combat mission. Eternal memory to our hero! He is survived by his wife and little daughter... Deepest condolences to Bohdan's family!" actress Olha Sumska wrote.
Bohdan’s colleagues from the EgoisT theatre, where he also worked and participated in productions, expressed their condolences.
"The Hotel has lost its owner, Jack, forever. Rest in peace, HERO. With a heavy heart, we announce the death of our actor, Bohdan Kolesnyk, in the war. A talented, fun and loyal friend. We will always remember you. The pain is never-ending..."
