Quote: "Following our tradition, we’ve dressed the little ones up! This is always a symbolic gesture for me! Previously, they've donned military uniforms, national costumes, even medical attire...
This time [they are] angels, as it's Christmas. I’ve also symbolically dressed one of the children in a Ukrainian energy worker’s uniform. Because today, energy workers bring light to people! And light is life!"
Volodymyr Zhuravel also mentioned the critical infrastructure workers who have been injured.
"It's important for all of us to remember the hard work of those who protect us and bring us light.
And to wish that there may be light and warmth in every home and every heart! That this light may spread! On this day, and throughout our lives, may we carry the light!" he added.
