Details: The funds will be used to improve living conditions for refugees in Poland, improve education for Ukrainian children and young people, and prepare for the future return of refugees to Ukraine after the war.
Polish cities interested in receiving grants should apply to the Association giving details of specific projects for Ukrainian refugees, which will then be considered and approved by the selection committee.
At the signing ceremony, the Taiwanese representative noted that the establishment of the foundation demonstrates Taiwan's strong commitment to and concern for Ukraine.
According to the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the island has donated over US$40 million and about 600 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine since February last year.
