Residential buildings hit in two districts of Kyiv – Mayor
Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the evening of 21 December, with the Kyiv City State Administration reporting that air defence forces have been responding.

Background: On the evening of 21 December, Russia launched kamikaze UAVs towards Ukraine from several areas.
Later, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that as a result of air defence operating on Russian targets in the Solomianskyi district, debris is believed to have hit a residential building.
At 23:54, Klitschko clarified that a residential building in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv had been hit. The upper floors are on fire. Emergency services are working at the scene.
At 00:10, Klitschko reported that a private residential building in the Darnytskyi district had been hit by drone debris. The emergency services are on their way.
At 00:11, it was reported that one person had been injured in the Solomianskyi district. He was taken to hospital.
00.34, the Kyiv mayor said that another injured resident of the apartment building in the Solomianskyi district had been treated at the scene by medics.
