Air defence activated in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: two drones shot down

Air defence forces have shot down two Russian drones in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast during an air-raid warning on the evening of 20 December.

Quote: "Two enemy drones down (in Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro districts). We are grateful to the defenders of Operational Command Skhid (East) for ensuring that our children can sleep peacefully."

Background: 

• On the evening of 20 December, the Russians launched several groups of attack drones onto the territory of Ukraine from several directions. 
• Ukrainian air defence destroyed two Russian Shahed UAVs over Sumy Oblast.
• Debris from a suspected Russian UAV fell on a residential building in Myrhorod district, Poltava Oblast, during the air-raid warning.
