Zelenskyy explains why he cannot get rid of his team
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that he has no intention of getting rid of his team, saying that would lead to a reduction in Western aid and make Ukraine weaker.

Quote: "Concerning my team, if I get rid of my team, which is quite small and consists of five or six managers, then all of us will become weaker: there will be less air defence, less aid. With all due respect to your rhetoric, I simply cannot afford to do that."
Details: Zelenskyy also believes that the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian Parliament) should not be dissolved, since that would create a need for elections. "What can I do as President? I can’t dismiss them [the MPs – ed.], because then elections would follow. Elections cannot be held during the war," he remarked.
He added that "no matter what the MPs are like", they voted for the laws required for Ukraine's EU membership.
