Russians launch Shahed UAVs: Starokostiantyniv under attack overnight
The Russian army launched attack drones from the occupied parts of Ukraine's south on the evening of 18 December.

Updated: The Air Force reported at 02:40 that Russian drones were heading across Vinnytsia Oblast to Khmelnytskyi Oblast. An air-raid warning was issued in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi oblasts.
At 03:07, the Air Force urged residents of the town of Starokostiantyniv (Khmelnytskyi Oblast) to take cover.
The Russian forces have repeatedly fired missiles and attacked the military airfield in Starokostiantyniv with drones in 2023.
The Air Force sounded the all-clear at 03:56.
Quote: "A group of Shahed enemy UAVs is heading north-west from Kherson Oblast (towards Mykolaiv/Dnipropetrovsk oblasts)."
Details: The air-raid warning had initially been issued in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
The Ukrainian forces reported the movement of Russian attack UAVs on the border of Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts towards the town of Kryvyi Rih and near Beryslav district in Kherson Oblast towards Mykolaiv Oblast.
