Russians create fake Telegram channels of Ukrainian brigades and battalions – Centre for Countering Disinformation

The creation of fake Telegram channels of Ukrainian brigades and battalions has intensified online.

Details: The description of these channels states that they were ostensibly created to receive feedback on command violations and crimes.

In fact, such Telegram channels were created by Russians to spread their fakes and narratives, which aim to discredit both the command of brigades or battalions and the military themselves.

Russian intelligence also creates these channels to gather information by receiving feedback.

The Centre for Countering Disinformation urges not to use such channels and to trust only verified sources of information.
