Ukraine's Defence Ministry recovered nearly US$570,000 in last 3 months from court cases concerning unfulfilled contracts

Ukraine’s Defence Ministry has recovered nearly US$570,000 from court cases concerning unfulfilled contracts since September 2023.

Details: The Defence Ministry said this was mainly due to violations of the terms of contracts between the ministry and the contractors. 

In addition, the ministry repossessed property with a total area of 1,717 sq. m and two plots of land (0.2 hectares each) in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. 

Previously: Ukraine’s Defence Ministry has won five international arbitrations against fraudulent foreign suppliers, which enabled it to recover around US$24 million.
