Details: Orbán once again reaffirmed that Hungary thinks "Ukraine is not prepared for opening negotiations on EU membership".
"The decision to start negotiations with Ukraine under such circumstances is absolutely insane, irrational and wrong," he added.
Orbán explained that after nearly eight hours of discussions, other EU member states insisted on supporting opening accession talks with Ukraine and, as he put it, "decided to have their way".
"Hungary does not want to be part of this very bad decision," Orbán also said when explaining why he abstained from the vote.
