Ukraine's defence minister introduces new Medical Forces commander to Ukrainian military medics

Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umierov has introduced Anatolii Kazmirchuk, the new commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to military medics.

Quote from Umierov: "The life and well-being of our wounded soldiers is your personal responsibility. We must combine the latest NATO approaches with the vast experience of combat medics from the Ukrainian battlefield."

Details: Umierov also noted that he seeks to get rid of obsolete procedures, Soviet approaches and anything that does not comply with NATO standards, as well as tons of paperwork, and develop an effective digital system.

The official emphasised the importance of feedback from the frontline medics.
