Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend the temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for the eighth day.

Background:
- At 07:00 on 24 November, a four-day truce began between Israel and Hamas militants.
- On the evening of 24 November, the first 13 Israeli hostages, accompanied by staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross, left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah checkpoint.
- According to the results of the negotiations, during the truce, Hamas must release 50 hostages captured on 7 October, and the Israeli authorities are to release 150 Palestinian prisoners.
- On Monday, Qatar, as a mediator, successfully negotiated an agreement between Israel and Hamas to extend the four-day truce between them for two more days.
- On the morning of 30 November, the IDF announced the continuation of the truce with Hamas.
