Matvii Bidnyi becomes acting Minister of Sports

Matvii Bidnyi will temporarily perform the duties of the Minister of Youth and Sports, having previously been the deputy minister.

• From 2016 to 2020, Matvii Bidnyi was the Director of the Department of Non-Olympic Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
• Since July 2020, he has been a deputy minister.

Background: On 8 November, Huttsait wrote a resignation letter. He said that he would focus on his work in the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
