Ukraine's Security Service blows up railway linking Russia and China
The Baikal-Amur Mainline was hit by an explosion on the night of 29-30 November in the Severomuysky Tunnel named after Vladimir Bessolov, in Buryatia, Russia.
Source: Ukrainska Pravda source in the security forces
Details: The source notes that this is the only major railway connection between Russia and China. And now this route, which Russia uses for military supplies among other things, is paralysed.
Ukrainska Pravda’s source said the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) was behind the explosion.
Officially, the special service has not yet commented on these events.
Quote: "Four explosive devices went off as a freight train was passing through. The FSB is now working at the scene, and railway workers are trying unsuccessfully to minimise the consequences of the SSU’s special operation."
