Background:
- The Czech fundraising campaign for a Black Hawk helicopter started on 16 November. Organisers have shown the Black Hawk they would hand over to Ukraine. It was called Čestmir.
- This is, so far, the largest fundraising campaign of the initiative. The campaign is being conducted under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence of Czechia.
- The Dárek pro Putina (Gift for Putin) initiative is most well-known for its fundraising for a modernised T-72 tank worth CZK 30 million (US$1.4 million) for Ukraine, which was called Tomáš after the first President of Czechoslovakia.
- In addition to this, the initiative has had other successful large fundraising campaigns, like for 15 mobile air defence systems and a Czech multiple-launch rocket system RM-70, which was named Přemysl.
