Zelenskyy issues order to create mobilisation plan

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has ordered Defence Minister Rustem Umierov, Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Ukrainian ministries to develop a systemic plan concerning the mobilisation of soldiers by next week.

Details: Zelenskyy remarked that he had heard a report on priority issues, as well as the needed legal changes.

Quote: "The systemic plan on this issue will be ready next week. I really hope [it will be ready] next week, at the very least, Zaluzhnyi, Umierov and the ministers were given such a deadline, so they will have to present a detailed report next week."

Background: Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, reported on 24 November that the conscripts who have reached the end of their service terms were to be demobilised in the near future.
